Something just happened, just happened somehow
With whatnots of nowheres in a cold dark tower
Where the words couldn't come to the end of it all
Because the hands that were behind it simply thought they could stall
In an indefinite manner cause of changings in the way
That everybody simply socialized when changings came to stay
Simply something and somehow the whatnots and know-hows
Decided it was time to call it quits and make it sour

I think we all wish for a time were relinquishing of hands
Could come upon us in a way that makes us want to bear the bands
That made us tight and fit together in the puzzle of the ways
We had when simply foolish children lived some foolish happy days
And we're not sorry that's it's over but we wish that it began
In a brand new sorry matter that took matters into hand
Because when talking fails and sharing sucks and everything is bland
There's still the hope that someone starts us of and plays the better man

And I am not that man
But I am not alone
And if you others show your skin then we don't have to be so prone
To thinking living in the past is a foolish thing to think
Because the point of all this living is to think back and to shrink
From our mistakes and how we make them up and slowly move along
Like snails in motion thanks to outer forces pushing hard and strong
I say I'm sorry that I couldn't keep it up and I believe
That you are all so sorry too about the way we made it bleed
And so it doesn't really matter now as long as our truths
About this slate that we have writ upon come out as clever proofs
That it is dusty and it's cracked along its edges and it shows
So with a little push a tide will come and everything like dominoes
Will fall in place to make a piece of puzzle come to end
Cause in the end and only in the end it's you my fellow friend
