Any Ideas?
I don't want to give up entirely on Global but I feel like it can't really serve the purposes it used to. With classes and activities, nobody really feels like writing and if someone was to resume writing, his work would probably end up on his personal blog / OTM like during this summer. Plus, the new Facebook group has made the posting of vids on Global obsolete. Even though there's basically no use for GlobaLOLization any more, I just feel like it really sucks to give up on it. Does anyone have thoughts on how we can save Global?

I think there's still a niche that Global could theoretically fill; posts too lengthy for Insertion but not personal/private enough for a personal blog or OTM. Finding something interesting enough to write about and taking the time to do that is the problem.
Definitely agree with last sentence. There just isn't time.
I think the most important use Global serves in its current state is being an archive of the past 6 or 7 years of our lives. That's a huge fucking chunk of time that I want to be able to remember. :D
yes i agree with max. while there is currently a decline in activity on globalol, that is no reason to put the blog on trial.
i believe a method of saving globalol is by avoiding doomsday posts like these that make us think horrible thoughts.
